Aberlour 10 Year Old is a classic Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, produced since 1879. Founded by James Fleming and evidently infused with the family motto of ‘Let the Deed Show’, Aberlour 10 Year Old is a welcoming, vibrant and rewarding Scottish Whisky. Like most single malts from the Aberlour Distillery, the 10 Year old is double cask matured, one half in oak ex-bourbon casks and the other in ex-sherry butts for a minimum of 10 years.
The result of this relationship with different woods during maturation, and the traditional production methods is a single malt whisky that is a diverse and intriguing spectrum of flavours for enthusiasts of Scotch Whiskies to savour; with a complexity that inspires each and every sip.
Tasting Note: The dry, fresh, fruity aromas of early autumn apples and pears are subtly enhanced with sweet notes of vanilla and mint toffee. Exceptionally smooth and creamy, with spicy-sweet nutmeg and honey combining with the freshness of autumn fruits.
